Omega De villa Tresor, Omega’s most renowned dress watch. Omega stored much success in its bucket. They made watches for divers, space, and aviation. We know omega’s watch visited space also. For a long time, James bond has been wearing omega watches in the James bond movie. I wrote an article(The seamaster diver 300M 007 edition) about the latest James bond watch. Among all of the success, we should not forget about the Omega de villa Tresor, an elegant dress watch.

The de villa Tresor was firstly launched in 1949. Sometimes in some watch auctions, we see this watch. It was so popular at that time. Then in 2014 omega again introduced this watch with white, yellow, and Sedna gold color. In 2019, for celebrating 125 years of this watch omega again came with a new look at this watch and made surprise to all watch lovers. This time the de villa Tresor came with rare red color.

What is a dress watch?

A dress watch is a particular watch to wear with a suit or any formal attire. When a diver goes for dive in a sea he or she must wear a diver watch. Because divers sometimes visit deep in the sea and after a specific range a normal watch does work properly. So divers need to wear a diver watch. When you will wear a suit or wear a formal dress for a meeting, occasions or job a dress watch is appropriate with your attire.

The de villa Tresor came several times with several colors. Today we are discussing the rare red one. You see the omega’s icon color. Its rare red. For the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the omega name, this watch was launched in 2019 with the same color as the icon. It features a 40 mm case includes 18k yellow gold. The case is thin and dial color is rare red. Wafer-thin hour markers and a second, a minute and hour hands assembled on the dial. These hour markers and hands also include 18k yellow gold. No date window added on the dial. The caseback engraved about the 125th anniversary on a rare red circle and the caseback also includes 18k gold. The watch present on a burgundy leather strap engraved with the name omega and its icon. The watch is powered by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8929 – the first manual-winding Master Chronometer movement.
